Shino is a Skill unit with a good crit chance and 20% erase chakra consumption. His Jutsu can hit 5K. His ultimate can hit around 9k normal and 14k bonus element.
Fear. It’s this dreadful emotion that sometimes drives success from those feeling helpless, but mostly just creates despair for those less fortunate. This Phantom Castle hauntingly forces two fears upon us, Acarophobia (The fear of bugs) and Shaftophobia (The fear of complete and utter disappointment).
The 16th Phantom Castle unit is the Shippuden version of Shino Aburame. He’s a Mid-Range Skill unit with a Max HP of 1298 and Atk of 1462. Shino’s abilties, Field Skill, and Buddy Skill either mediocre or near useless. His status is like most PC units, where he doesn’t provide anything new to the Blazing table other than being a grindable, mediocre F2P unit.
Now, what does Shino bring to the table than? Well, if you consider all his dupes, pills, and Sync Skills, his role is a Gimmicky Nuker. I realize that sounds very ironic and given his low Multipliers, how could I come to that conclusion? Well, his abilities make Shino’s Ultimate Jutsu’s Slip Damage last 7 turns and has a 20% Chance of no Chakra Consumption. Partnered with the fact that his first Jutsu changes his 3x multiplier into a 5.5x multiplier if the enemy is inflicted with Slip Damage, Shino was made to use his Ultimate, get the Slip Damage off plus not require any chakra consumption, and then use his Normal Jutsu twice. Once you take Sync Skills, Pills, and being Max Level into the equation and use his Ultimate once (9672) and his Normal Jutsu’s twice (8866 x 2), he does a total amount of 27,404 Neutral Damage.
That might make this clansmen redeemable in your eyes, but you have to keep this in mind: His character’s utility provides absolutely no further useful support to the team and you have to be extremely lucky, and/or reset the game enough were you get his 70% of Slip Damage from his Ultimate and his 20% Chance of no Chakra Consumption from his Abilities, which only come from getting him Max Duped. So Luck might be a Lady, but they certainly left Shino in the Cold.
