Orochimaru: Hidden Ambitions is Short range Wisdom character with decent attack and great health. His main ability is increasing jutsu multiplier, when enemy unit is slipped. His Ninjutsu becomes AoE on 5th ability, and hits 7464 normal, and 9330 when slipped, while his chakra cost is 5. Ninjutsu makes him great unit on Phantom Castle, because of it’s wide range.

His AoE Ultimate Ninjutsu long ranged hits 16.794 and 25.191 for Bravery units, also 21.459 and 32.189 when enemy is slipped. His abilities boosts critical hit rate, make Ninjutsu AoE, and also gives 20% to use 0 chakra while doing Ninjutsu. Field Skill boosts attack by 80-160 which is very good, and Buddy Skill let reduce Bravery damage by 30%. His speed at 142 is quite low, but high health value makes him good supporter if someone counts on high health units. Orochimaru slip damage multiplier makes him great unit combined with some characters, like Naruto: Unshakeable Will or Sage Jiraiya, who have attack boost on Buddy Skill, units with Field Skill attack boost like Taka Sasuke, and some unit who provides slip damage.

With this all Orochimaru can hit even above 40k (not critical hit) on his Secret Technique. He is great unit on Phantom Castle and Ninja Road when he combines with other elements units. Also he is very useful against Boss fights. Could be better in PVP mode.

Emergency Missions

Orochimaru is good unit to play Emergency Missions like daily Ramen and Scrolls, because of his universality. Good attack, a lot of health, 5 chakra make him very enjoyable character. He is Wisdom element, so doesn’t deal lowered damage to anybody. Tougher missions are not a problem to him because of his AoE Secret Technique that can wound badly. We have many interesting Wisdom units with useful skills and abilities, that can improve Orochimaru stats. If you would like setup team to deal tons of damage I recommend use Sage Jiraiya or Naruto: Unshakeable Will on Buddy, Taka Sasuke and Madara who give Field Skill attack Boost, and Sasuke: Seal of Shadow who gives slip damage, Taka Sasuke also can do this. Don’t forget that Orochimaru Buddy Skill is reducing Bravery damage by 30%, this could help a lot in hard missions when we use tactic to fulfill chakra on our units.

Phantom Castle

Orochimaru is great unit on Phantom Castle, but only if we have him on maxed abilities, because the last one changes Ninjutsu from Single to AoE. Before we max his abilities there is no point to use Orochimaru on Phantom Castle, but if someone already have him with all abilities, Orochimaru can change battle result more than once, because if you have possibility to hit 3 units it will give above 22k damage, and if you used Jiraiya before, or someone who gave slip damage, you will be able to deal almost 30k damage to all units on battlefield, you won’t be disappointed.

Ninja Road

I think in this mode Orochimaru can show his real power. Ninja Road is specific challenge where we use 18 units divided for 3 teams, and we must win 20 staged raid. In this mode good option is mix all elements units in each team, because we don’t know which elemental unit we will meet during playing Ninja Road. This is perfect situation for Orochimaru, who can gain a lot from other units. For example I decided to use Orochimaru with Heart Madara, Utakata, SO6P Naruto, Sasuke Akatsuki and Sasuke: Soul Shrouded in Sorrow, this is deadly combination, and Orochimaru is really part of it. He has lacks, but they can be hidden by proper units.


Definitely worst game-mode for Orochimaru. He also could be really good with it, but his speed at 142 disqualify him pretty much. Better try not to imagine feeling when you wait for Orochimaru’s turn, while other units with speed about 300 passing you by few times. Only one point I can understand is when you don’t have many useful units, and you count on high health characters to survive, like I used to do with my Hidan before I got second Minato. But wait a sec, look how many times you have seen Sasori in this mode, it’s almost the same situation, but as we can see ( I was punished many times because of Sasori) also here Orochimaru can surprise someone who is too confident and not enough careful.


We have Orochimaru since few weeks, but I haven’t seen a lot of people who use him. And to be honest I don’t know why. In my opinion Orochimaru is clearly one of the best units in game, who can change battle results everywhere he appears. Maybe that is because last time everyone play Rinne Sasuke? Or because Kamui Kakashi got Limit Break? Yea, Rinne Sasuke right now is best Wisdom unit in game, but I think there are few units standing right behind him, and Orochimaru is one of them. He stole my heart because of his great abilities and field/buddy skills, and his amazing Secret Technique, that can be really deadly. Thank God Bandai showed mercy and introduced banner Orochimaru, because his units we have had before are rather like crap. Orochimaru finally respected.
