Overview

Welcome to the Attack Range guide we will give you a brief overview over each of the 3 different attack range types and which ones to pick.

Short

short-range

Short Ranged characters obviously have the shortest range indicator circle for their attack. The aren’t many favorable short range characters currently but below I will list a few of the top tier short ranged characters.

  • Sasuke Uchiha – “Lone Survivor”
  • Neiji Hyuga – “An Unchangeable Destiny”
  • Hinata Hyuga – “Nice Girl”
  • Choji Akimichi – “Glutton”

Mid

mid-range

Mid ranged characters are the sweet spot for not only being top tier character pics but for being strong AOE characters ontop of having a reach that can usually get two enemies inside of it. Some of the notable characters you will find in the mid range that you may want to pick up will be included below.

  • Naruto – “No.1 Maverick”
  • Kakashi – “The Hidden Left Eye”
  • Haku – “Frozen Heart”
  • Zabuza – “Silent Madness”
  • Kabuto Yakushi – “The Sound’s Spy”

Long

long-range

Long ranged characters give you a major advantage on the battlefield, they provide the longest / largest range and they are great at hitting multiple opponents even when they aren’t stacked up closely together. Some of the more notable characters from this range will be listed below.

  • Gaara – “Sand Defense”
  • Sakura Haruno – “Maiden in Love”
  • Shikamaru Nara – “Lazy Guy”
  • Shino Aburame – “Cold Beetle User”

Which to Pick?

When it comes to picking characters and their range types, usually you will find a lot of success with the mid ranged and long ranged characters. The Mid and Long range are also the area where the current high tier characters are. The ranged advantage is great for denying enemies the ability to counter attack you or to combo attack multiple teammates.  The longer ranged characters are also great for Boss fights where you need to move into position to attack the boss, but your character is strong enough to one shot the minions, which helps reduced potential damage taken.
