Special thanks to antonlabz for making this wonderful video. I have transcribed his video for those that want to read it.

Overview

Hello friends and welcome to the Naruto Blazing Ninja Road (No Madara) Guide Before you read the guide watch the video above. I’m going to be giving a run down of every aspect of the video so you can always come back to this for better reference.

Preface

A bit of a set up period to explain some parts of the raid so you can prepare.

General

  • A run costs 20 stamina
  • There are 20 stages
  • Every 5th stage is a boss
  • Boss is always Skill

Preface setup

  • You can bring 3 teams
  • There is no team cost limit
  • You cannot bring the same unit on multiple teams (think of it as 1 big team instead of 3 separate)
  • Between stages you can select a different team
  • Each team has it’s own HP

Mechanics

  • Your buff turns/duration are saved when team is not in use
  • If 1 of your teams die, they are “Eliminated” and can’t be used for the rest of the run
  • if all 3 teams die you lose
  • All rewards are based on the last boss you kill

Rewards

  • You will be rewarded an Acquisition Stone for clearing all 20 stages for the first time (fuse to activate ability/lower cost)
  • You can farm Granny Cat Coins by running Ninja Road again
  • Coins are for Granny Cat Shop where you can buy many things
  • Rare Maps have a chance to appear on stages 4, 7, 14, and 19
  • They are EXTREMELY easy and reward extra coins

Through the raid you will encounter two different field effects: Poison Areas and Chakra Recovery Areas.

Team Setup

This section is to show some suggestions for good team setups to use in Ninja Road. They are not required by any means only meant to be used as suggestions.

Team 1 – AoE

This will be your go to team for clearing stages with multiple strong enemies.

Reasoning

  • AoE on Normal Jutsus for spammability
  • Decently strong
  • Rin also as Large AoE Ultimate

Things to look out for

  • Type coverage
  • Avoid Body units
  • Strong AoE capabilities
  • Preferably on Jutsu but can be on both
  • High hit count also helps gain chakra back.
  • Any kind of utility is welcome

Team 2 – Nukers/Scapegoats

This team will mainly be dealing with harder stages you’ll face later on, as well as the “Sacrifice” for stage 19

Reasoning

Sasuke Uchiha

  • Strong nuke against Bravery
  • Has dodge if needed
  • Can build chakra fast

Female Naruto and Gaara(The Sands Final Weapon)

  • These 2 are specifically for clearing stage 18 (will get into this later)
  • Gaara is also a decent Wisdom nuker

Suigetsu

  • Decent free alternative for Bravery nuker

Gaara

  • Bravery Nuker

Sakura Haruno

  • Healer

Requirements

  • Should consist of Wisdom/Bravery nukers
  • Any large AoE Ultimate Nuker is also welcome

Stage 18 is going to be one of the main focuses of this team, as it can either make or break your run.

Ways to handle stage 18

  • Madara (But we wont be using him in this guide)
  • ATK booster + AoE Nuker
  • Tanks/Dodgers + Pushers
  • Ultimate jutsu for every type (Not recommended)

AoE Nuke + ATK Booster

Stage 18 has VERY high defense. You need about 19.3k damage to clear stage 18.

Example

Gaara base ATK = 1700 + 100 (pills)

PC Naruto 100% boost = 1800 * 2

Gaara Ult Multiplier = 3600 * 6 = 21,600 damage

Also note that if you decide to bring a non neutral AoE Nuker, it will kill everyone except the type they are weak to.

Tank/Dodge + Pushers

The Tanker/Dodger role is to lure the enemies near the poison, which will then allow Pushers to push them into the poison and kill them.

Team 3 – Boss Killer

This team focuses specifically on killing the bosses.

Requirements

  • All the bosses are Skill, so you should focus on Heart
  • High damage output is the goal
  • Nine tails is the last boss so it’s recommended that you bring a few units that can hit its Forehead (Exmp. Yugito/Rin)
  • ATK boosters can be brought to substitute damage dealers
  • Slip damage and ATK reduction are always good options for big bosses

Stage Section

Stage 1

Wave 1 – 3 Skill mobs

Wave 2 – 3 skill mobs

They have around 2500 HP and deal 150-180 damage each. This stage is super easy just clear them with your team.

Stage 2

Wave 1 – 4 Heart Mobs

2500 HP and 130 damage each. Since switching teams teaks time, use the same team as before just make sure to stall for your ultimate.

Stage 3

Wave 1 – 3 Body mobs

  • 2500 HP
  • 170 damage
  • AoE jutsu on 1 (-306 dmg)

Wave 2 – Early Spawn: The middle mob is killed anytime before the last

Iruka

  • 3000 HP
  • 285 Damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 713 damage

Baki

  • 3000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  • Short

Kakkou

  • 3000 HP
  • 295 Damage
  • Short

Easy stage, switch to your next team to fill chakra.

Stage 4

Dosu

  • 5000 HP
  • 200 Damage
  • Short
  • AoE 380 Damage

Zaku

  • 5000 HP
  • 180 Damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 360 damage

Kin

  • 5000 HP
  • 160 Damage
  • Long
  • Single Target 432 damage

The potions are bait. After 1 turn they will be covered in poison for 10 turns.

It’s up to you if you want to grab them but you really don’t need to.

Switch to your remaining team and stall for chakra here.

Stage 5 (BOSS)

Disclaimer: Attack patterns are similar to raid counterpart

Gamabunta Main Body

  • 50,000 HP
  • 300 damage
  • Water Bullet 300 damage

Very easy, just aim for the main body. be conservative no need to use any ultimates.

After killing him you will be given a Buff that makes you immune to Slip Damage, Immobilization, and Sealing for 15 turns.

Stage 6

Wave 1 – 3 Wisdom mobs 4000 HP and 195 damage each

Wave 2 – Early spawn: Middle mob killed any time but last

Kimimaro

  • 11,000 HP
  • 230 Damage
  • Long
  • Single 490 damage, Chance to immobilize

Haku

  • 11,000 HP
  • 230 Damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 391, chance to Seal

Orochimaru

  • 15,000 HP
  • 230 Damage
  • Mid
  • Single 690 damage, chance of slip damage

You can just use your BOSSING team again as the stage is easy enough for you to kill them while refilling chakra. If you had to pick one to stall on i’d say Kimmimaro or Haku.

Stage 7

Wave 1 – 2 Skill Mobs 5000 HP and 170 damage each

Tayuya

  • 12,000 HP
  • 170 Damage
  • Long
  • AoE 425, chance to seal

Kidomaru

  • 11,000 HP
  • 170 Damage
  • Long
  • Immobilize

Wave 2 – Early spawn: Kidomaru is killed anytime but last.

2 Skill mob

CM Tayuya

  • 15,000 HP
  • 190 damage
  • Long
  • Aoe 760, chance to Immobilize

CM Kidomaru

  • 15,000 HP
  • 190 Damage
  • Long
  • Immobilize

Easy stage, jutsu can be used to speed up the stage.

Stage 8

Asuma

  • 21,000 HP
  • 290 damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 783

Kakashi

  • 21,000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  •  Long
  • Single 725, chance to Immobilize

Guy

  • 20,000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  • Mid
  • Single 863 – 1015 damage

AoE team is good to bring here to kill off 2 simultaneously. Up to you who you want to stall on.

You may want to refill your chakra before proceeding because you’ll probably use your AoE Team again next stage.

Stage 9

Wave 1

Shikaku

  • 18,000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  • Long
  • Single 928 damage

Choza

  • 18,000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  • Short
  • AoE 725 Damage

Inochi

  • 18,000 HP
  • 290 Damage
  • Mid
  • Attack Reduction 15% for 8 turns

Wave 2

Ino

  • 15,000 HP
  • 320 Damage
  • Long
  • Single 805 damage

Shikamaru

  • 15,000 HP
  • 230 Damage
  • Mid
  • Immobilize unit and himself

Choji

  • 15,000 HP
  • 230 Damage
  • Short
  • AoE 700 Damage

AoE team would be most effective here. Spam away then refill chakra on the last enemy of your choosing.

Stage 10 (Boss)

Disclaimer: Attack patterns are similar to story counterpart. I will list necessary info.

Shukaku Main Body

  • 63,000 HP
  • 306 Damage
  • Sky Bullet 1530 Damage

Second BOSS isn’t to hard, a few Ultimates should deal with him. Just go straight for main body.

After killing Shukaku you will get a Buff that gives you double damage for 10 turns.

Stage 11

Wave 1

Gaara

  • 5000 HP
  • 250 damage
  • Mid
  • Single 1000 damage

Wave 2

Sasori

  • 5000 HP
  • 250 Damage
  • Short
  • Single 850, chance of slip damage

Wave 3

Shukaku Gaara

  • 5000 HP
  • 250 Damage
  • AoE 1125 damage

Remember that you have a double damage buff from the last boss. You will need to utilize this stage because they have high defense.

Gaara can be killed with normal attacks. Sasori either needs a Juts or really strong normal attacks.

Shukaku Gaara has extremely high defense and will only go down with a really strong jutsu (usually an ult).

They are all easier as long as the buff is still up so be sure to beat them within the 10 turn duration.

Stage 12

Rin

  • 28,000 HP
  • Ultimate AoE 12000 Damage

Hiashi

  • 25,000
  • Thin AoE 600 damage

Zabuza

  • 25,000 HP
  • Thin AoE 600 damage

Hiruzen

  • 25,000 HP
  • Thin AoE 600 damage

NOTE: They will NOT move at all

They don’t have normal attacks and will just spam their jutsu which can be avoided. By standing right next to them you can literally push them into the poison.

The poison on the left side with periodically disappear and then re-appear. This is the best stage to refill your chakra for your BOSSING team before the next BOSS.

Stage 13

2 Body Mobs

3 Skill Mobs

3 Heart Mobs

10,000 HP and 190 damage each. All MID Range.

Bring your AoE team here and then end them quickly before they combo you into oblivion. Leave 1 mob alive and use them to stall to prepare for the next stage.

Stage 14

Tsunade

  • 35,000 HP
  • 200 Damage
  • Short
  • AoE Heal + Herself 8000 HP

Rin

  • 30,000 HP
  • 200 Damage
  • Short
  • Heal ally or herself 5000 HP

Sakura

  • 30,000 HP
  • 200 Damage
  • Mid
  • Heal ally or herself 5000 HP

Bring AoE team as they are the most effective at clearing this stage and you want to preserve chakra of other teams. Tsunade heals the most so you want to kill her first.

Don’t hesitate to use your Ultimates to kill them faster. Leave 1 alive to stall for chakra.

NOTE: They will be your last chance to safely stall for chakra. Every stage beyond this point is very dangerous and requires planning.

Stage 15

Disclaimer: Attack patterns are similar to raid counterpart. I will only list necessary info.

Manda Main Body

  • 155,000 HP
  • 800 Damage
  • Snake Fangs 627-738, chance of slip damage

As usual, bring out your BOSSING team. Manda is a lot harder than previous boses so you’ll most likely need to use all your Ultimates and more.

Don’t forget to grab the chakra bottles at the top. You definitely want to avoid being hit by his Snake Fangs, as the slip damage on it really hurts. You can do this by hugging the top wall.

After killing Manda you will be given a Buff that increases your chakra recovery to 2 per turn for 20 turns.

Stage 16

Wave 1

Guy

  • 55,000 HP
  • Single 12,000 Damage

Wave 2

Lee

  • 55,000 HP
  • Single 12,000 Damage

Chakra Recovery area recovers 4 chakra when you stand in it.

NOTE: Dodge does not work here.

It’s time to finally use your Nuker Team. This is when the stages start to get crazy, this stage is kill or be killed.

Although dodge doesn’t work, you can use Attack Reduction and/or barriers to survive a hit, but I would suggest it. Make sure to nuke them while standing in the chakra area.

Remember that you also have the Buff from the BOSS, so essentially you will be recovering 6 Chakra per turn.

IMPORTANT: This team is also used for stage 18. If you brought a large AoE Nuker as suggest in the team setup section, MAKE SURE that they will be in the front row and have their Ultimate up before you end the stage.

Stage 17

Naruto

  • 55,000 HP
  • 445 Damage
  • Short

Sasuke

  • 55,000 HP
  • 445 Damage
  • Short

NOTE: After about 17 turns they will both show a “DANGER” sign and start throwing off Ultimates every turn that deal around 9k damage.

Use you AoE team here only as your other 2 teams are needed elsewhere. Nuke them both down ASAP.

If you want, you can leave 1 of them alive, but make sure to bring their HP extremely low so that they will die in a single hit when needed.

Stage 18 – Methods

As mentioned before stage 18 will make or break your run. I will give a run down of each method except method 4.

Method 1 – Use Madara’s Ultimate

This one is just an instant win if you run Madara. Nothing more to it.

Method 2.5 – Non-Neutral Ultimate Jutsu with Boosted Attack

As you can see in the video it kills everyone but the type they are weak against.  (Method 2 is what our original team will be using and will be shown further in the guide)

Method 3 – Using Dodgers and Tankers

Bait them near the poison then push them in. Alternatively, if you have Sage Jiraiya or Konan, you should be able to push the bottom 3 into the poison from the first 2 turns.

Stage 18

Minato

  • Under 300 HP
  • 350 Damage
  • Long
  • Single 1861-2976

Tsunade

  • Under 300 HP
  • 350 Damage
  • Mid
  • Single 2600 Damage

Tobirama

  • Under 300 HP
  • 350 Damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 1225 Damage

Hashirama

  • Under 300 HP
  • 350 Damage
  • Mid
  • AoE 1225 Damage

Hiruzen

  • Under 300 HP
  • 350 Damage
  • Long
  • AoE 1400 Damage

NOTE: They will have very high defense and take 1 damage unless you use a strong Ultimate Jutsu

Now back to our original team…Neutral AoE Nuke + Attack boost. That’s the strategy for this with out using Madara.

Stage 19

Naruto

  • 60,000 HP
  • Full Map AoE 9750 Damage

Poison Area – Does 3000 damage per turn

Chakra Recovery – Restores 5 chakra per turn

You will need a sacrifice for this stage there really is no way around that. The poison plays an important part in this.

Your Nuker team has already served its purpose so bring them out first. Aim for about 50K damage on the 3 turns you get with this team.

After Naruto kills them all bring out your BOSSING team. Keep in mind that you will need to make up for whatever damage is missing, so that he dies before he nukes you again.

Stage 20

Disclaimer: Attack patterns are similar to raid counterpart. I will only list necessary info.

Nine Tails Main Body

  • 140,000
  • 506-595 Damage
  • Tailed Beast Ball 3400 Damage

Forehead

  • 35,000 HP
  • Tailed Beast Ball 2785-4004

Like the raid, killing the forehead will give you a permanent safe zone in the top left corner.

Congratulations if you made it this far. Aim to kill the Forehead first, then after it’s down the rest of the fight is complete cake.

Once you beat the Nine tails you have completed Ninja Road. Good job and hopefully this guide was helpful to you during your trials.

  • Ahmed

i finish the run twice but got the Acquisition Stone only on the first time so i’m wondering if it’s rewarded once or can be rewaded again

    • pepin

      just 1 stone unfortunately!

  • Alex

Only once… think about it in your head why it would be repeatable when most 5* costs $$$ to get duplicate one.
